Summer holiday buys.

Dear Readers,

I went shopping for my summer holidays today and I bought myself a new bag from Comptoir des Cotonniers. It's a large summery tote bag, which can be carried by hand or on the shoulder. I love the contrast with the neon pink plastic and the natural leather finish. A tote bag is needed in a Chic Parisian's wardrobe as it is the perfect type of bag to go to work with and to go shopping!

This tote bag will go really well with white jeans, a light summer dress and any chic everyday look!!!

Getting ready for Paris! - first letter

Dear Readers,

I was born in the 16th arrondisement of Paris, but moved to England when I was little. After seven years in the country of rock n' roll and the queen, I will be moving back very soon! I am super exited  and I am preparing my life in Paris so I made a few purchases:

This style guide by former Channel model, Ines de la Fresange is excellent - I couldn't recommend it more! She advises to go for quality over quantity and believes in a simple style based around seven pieces:

• The blazer
• The trench
• The navy sweater
• The tank
• The little black dress
• The leather jacket
• The Jean  (In all colours)

and The Moleskine Paris city guide:

This is quite useful as I will have maps to get around with, somewhere to put my notes which will help me write these letters to you! It allows you to write in your own "must do's" and favourites.

My letters will be about my life in Paris and my personal style and recommendations of shops I will discover.
